[NEDBIB-L] Videos in digital libraries - September 8, 2016

Videos in digital libraries: What’s in it for libraries, publishers and scientists?

Thursday, September 8th, 2016 in Hannover, Germany

The aim of the workshop is to stimulate a discussion between scientists, publishers and libraries about the use and potential of videos as a way of scientific communication. The workshop encourages critical reflection on the incentives for scientist to produce video material and discuss the process related to the production, dissemination, sharing and the use of scientific videos. Further it provides an opportunity for science communicators, publishers, librarians and researchers to share best practice and experiences with scientific videos in their own research field. http://www.tpdl2016.org/video_abstracts
