Nineteenth International Conference on Grey Literature
'Public Awareness and Access to Grey Literature'

 

                            National Research Council of Italy, 23-24 October 2017 in Rome, Italy

 

The GL19 Call for Papers is now open until April 15, 2017. After this date, abstracts submitted for presentation in a Plenary Session will be evaluated by the Conference Program Committee, which is set to meet on May 5, 2017 in Pisa, Italy. By mid-May, authors will have been notified of their place on the GL19 Conference Program. On May 15th a formal Call for Posters will be launched, closing one month prior to the conference or when all available poster slots have been filled. Authors who choose to present a poster instead of a paper are not required to submit a full-text manuscript. However, if they so choose, it will be eligible for publication in the GL19 Conference Proceedings. Authors elected by the Program Committee to present during one of the conference plenary sessions and who submit a full-text paper qualify to be nominated for the GreyNet Annual Award 2018. Second Conference on Non-Textual Information
‘Software and Services for Science (S3)’
Programme is now online – Register by 31 March 2017 to benefit from the early bird rate!

Under the title “Software and Services for Science (S3)”, the English-language conference focuses primarily on the topics of sustainability and referencing scientific software, trends in programming practice, software sharing and legal aspects. The event offers a forum where infrastructure facilities and users can share information about the requirements, expectations and needs concerning scientific software in practice. The keynote “Incentives and rewards in scientific software communities” will be held by Edzer Pebesma (University of Münster). The programme also includes sessions on “Infrastructure, Strategy and General Conditions”, “Persistent Software Referencing”, “Impact and Sustainability through Accessible, Reusable and Open Software” and “Decentralised protocols and apps in science”. TIB is hosting the Second Conference on Non-Textual Information in collaboration with its partners ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences and ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics. [NEDBIB-L] Ontwerpen van trainingen: Didactiek op 24 februari 2017

Beste Informatieprofessional,

In de training Didactiek voor Professionals richt ik mij op mensen die
naast hun vak ook trainingen gegeven.
Een mooi uitgangspunt hierbij is het boek "Van deskundige naar trainer"
van Karin de Galan. Zij beschrijft in dit boek "de trap": een
stapsgewijze aanpak waarin deelnemers in drie stappen nieuwe
vaardigheden leren: weten-snappen-doen.
Een mooie en simpele tool als basis voor het ontwerpen van een
gestructureerde training.
Dat is ook het doel van de training Didactiek voor Professionals van
vrijdag 24 februari; dat iedere deelnemer met een trainingsontwerp onder
de arm de training verlaat!

Heeft u ervaring met het beoordelen van datamanagementplannen?

De Werkgroep Onderzoeksondersteuning en Advies van het Landelijk
Coördinatiepunt wil graag inzichtelijk krijgen hoe datamanagementplannen worden beoordeeld, zowel tijdens het opstellen van het datamanagementplan binnen de instellingen als bij het beoordelingsproces door de onderzoeksfinanciers.
Bent u als datamanager betrokken bij het opstellen van
datamanagementplannen of beoordeelt u financieringsaanvragen? Dan wordt uw input zeer op prijs gesteld. Wilt u onderstaande korte enquête invullen?
De enquête is opgesteld in het Engels, om ook ervaringen internationaal mee te kunnen nemen (o.a. met subsidieaanvragen in het kader van Horizon 2020).
De resultaten van dit onderzoekje worden verwerkt in een algemeen advies voor goede datamanagementplannen.

Vloggers gevraagd

Ga je 9 maart naar de 5^de VOGIN-IP-lezing in de OBA, vind je het leuk om te vloggen en ben je misschien al een vlogger?

Als je bovenstaande vragen met JA beantwoordt, ben jij misschien wel degene waar we naar zoeken.

De organisatoren van de VOGIN-IP-lezing zijn namelijk geïnteresseerd in video-impressies van het evenement. Als het jou leuk lijkt om er een te maken, meld je dan aan bij info@voginip.nl. 

Doe daar linkjes bij naar de leukste video's of vlogs die je al gemaakt hebt. Op basis daarvan selecteren we dan uit de aanmeldingen drie "officiële" voginip-vloggers.

Wat staat daar tegenover? 

De geselecteerde vloggers mogen gratis aan de VOGIN-IP-lezing deelnemen. 

Voor de beste vlog of video stellen we bovendien een prijs van € 150 beschikbaar. 

En de vlogs worden uiteraard op de VOGIN-IP-site gepubliceerd.
