The Research Specialist will be working in the Bain Brussels office.
The Research Specialist needs to be fluent in at least one Benelux language and English is required.

Position Summary:
The Research Specialist, Benelux Information Services is a researcher in the Brussels office working as part of the Benelux Cluster (which is part of the Global IS team) to provide comprehensive research and information services to consulting staff using appropriate electronic, print, and other business resources. This role frequently works as part of case teams to assist in research planning, information management, training, and capture of research experience.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
RESEARCH SUPPORT
Conducts research for local and regional case teams, Practice Areas and client development utilizing electronic, print and other resources as appropriate
Provides filtered and often synthesized research results
Proactively works with Case Team Members to understand the context of the case and specific case information needs
Solicits feedback from internal clients on performed research
ASSET BUILDING
Participates in asset building projects including contributions to the Information Services Portal, industry wikis and other projects as assigned
Participates as an active member of an Information Services Benelux Team
ADMINISTRATIVE
Tracks personal research requests including appropriate cost recovery information
Works with Case Team Manager to monitor information services costs
Participates in Information Services marketing efforts
Position Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited university or equivalent in business/economics, engineering or information science
2-3 years of experience conducting business research in a fast-paced consulting, financial services or other business setting or equivalent preferred
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in at least one Benelux language and English required
